Last Epoch has been enjoying a lot of surprising attention since its release. Many players are flooding the servers and overwhelming the developers with feedback about the hack & slay. In light of this situation, the developers have revealed new plans for future content that should please you.
What is Last Epoch? Last Epoch is a new hack & slay from the developers “Eleventh Hour Games”. In the game, you find yourself in the world of Eterra, which is divided into different timelines. The future has been plunged into ruin, and your task is to change the past so that the world of tomorrow has a chance.
The game was made accessible to all players on February 21 with Update 1.0. However, fans want to know what comes next, and the developers have a clear answer.
A brief overview of the classes and battles can be found in the launch trailer:
More endgame content, better items, and bug fixes
What have the developers revealed? The developers have announced new information regarding future content in their latest blog post on Last Epoch (via lastepoch.com). First, many patches and QoE updates will be released in Version 1.0.
The focus will primarily be on fixing many bugs that players have reported to the developers through the official reporting function in the game. Weekly fixes are to be released to make Last Epoch one of the best games the genre has to offer.
Additionally, the Monolith is to be expanded, new options for itemization, more boss content, class and balance updates, campaign content, and more will be added.
With Update 1.1, “endgame content” or challenging battles will be introduced. This content offers more challenges and could be considered a tougher endgame. The developers have not revealed more about this endgame content, but the update is not too far in the future. More information will be released by the developers as the release date approaches.
