3 Live Events until Server Downtime
Warzone will go down tomorrow morning at 6 AM for a 12-hour server downtime to bring the new map into the game. Until then, a total of 3 live events are online:
- Operation: Flashback – Crazy mode packed with old events
- Secrets of the Pacific – Cosmetics event: Visit places in Verdansk
- Last Hours of Verdansk – Battle Royale with a special ending
Operation: Flashback: A normal battle royale with squads of 4. However, only the rules are normal, the match flow is completely crazy.
The developers have stuffed almost all events, items, and OP weapons into this mode and checked if such a thing can be fun. And indeed – Operation: Flashback is a fantastic event mode with a lot of dynamics, randomness, and unfair OP strategies:
Secrets of the Pacific: This is the first joint event with the new CoD: Vanguard. The event requires you to visit a total of 6 locations on the old map, and for each success, there’s a themed cosmetic that aligns with the new Warzone map.
The tasks are perfect for taking a nice big round through the city of Verdansk and remembering long-forgotten gameplay highlights. If you visit all 6 locations, you will also receive a blueprint for the STG 44. Here are the solutions:
Last Hours of Verdansk: The last event mode to bid farewell to Verdansk is a special battle royale with different victory rules. You are not fighting for the total victory over all opponents but from a certain point in the match, you must capture a flag.
At least try the mode once – you will receive a cool farewell card from Verdansk, and if you secure a victory, there will be another card for the “Final Winners.” Additionally, the mode offers you double XP on your weapons and the battle pass.
Verdansk was a strong map for the release of Warzone and has accompanied us for over 1.5 years. Signs of wear were undeniable, yet the map always offered plenty of action and variety.
The new map “Caldera” still has to prove itself, and the changes in gameplay are likely to be eagerly anticipated by many players. What the Pacific update has to offer, you can find out here: 10 essential changes in CoD Warzone that you can expect after the Pacific update
