Who is Ayaka? Kamisato Ayaka is the daughter of the Kamisato clan of the Yashiro Commission in Inazuma. She is also referred to as “the princess” because she takes care of the internal and external affairs of the family.
She can represent her family well externally, as she is highly regarded by the population for her impeccable moral character and beauty. She is a dignified, elegant, wise, and strong woman.
The Kamisato family is one of the three most respected families in Inazuma, and although her older brother holds the position of family head, Ayaka is far more well-known. She has also built a better reputation by attending numerous social events and valuing interaction with others.
In her free time, she engages in the arts: music, singing, poetry, shougi, and dance. But food is not neglected either, as Ayaka particularly loves food from other regions. Over the years, she has also mastered the art of swordsmanship and the Kamisato fighting style with her Cryo abilities.

What can Ayaka do? According to the developers, Ayaka is a damage dealer, a character capable of dealing consistent high damage. She uses a one-handed sword and the Kamisato fighting style for this. Thanks to her abilities, she can move quickly and deals a lot of Cryo area damage.
What are her traits? Ayaka is also known as “the icy mist heron” and has the following traits:
- Weapon: One-handed sword
- Affiliation: Yashiro Commission
- Constellation: Grus Nivis
- Vision: Cryo
What are her abilities? Ayaka’s abilities are based on the Cryo element and deal a lot of area damage. Here they are in detail:
- Normal Attack: Performs up to five sword strikes
- Heavy Strike: Consumes stamina and creates a strong wind when drawing the sword
- Kamisato Style: Hyouka: Summons a rising ice bloom that knocks back nearby enemies and deals Cryo area damage
- Kamisato Style: Senho: Replaces running. Ayaka can move quickly and consumes stamina. During the duration of Senho, she can glide across the water’s surface at high speed. At the end of Senho, the following effects are triggered:
- Nearby enemies are affected by Cryo
- Ayaka’s sword temporarily gains the Cryo attribute
- Kamisato Style: Soumetsu: Ayaka summons the frostflake Seki no To, which moves forward after being fired and continuously deals Cryo damage. At the end of the duration, it creates a bloom that deals Cryo area damage

What are constellations? Constellations can be obtained in Genshin Impact by acquiring the character multiple times. Here are the advantages of Ayaka’s constellations:
- 1st Constellation: Reduces the cooldown of Hyouka by 0.3 seconds with a 50% chance when dealing Cryo damage to enemies with normal or heavy attacks
- 2nd Constellation: Creates two additional frostflakes when applying Soumetsu, each dealing 20% of the original damage
- 4th Constellation: When enemies are hit by a frostflake, their defense is reduced by 30% for 6 seconds
- 6th Constellation: Ayaka gains “Usurahi Butou” every 10 seconds, increasing the damage of her heavy strikes by 298%. The effect is removed 0.5 seconds after hitting with a heavy strike, and the trigger time is reset
Ayaka Banner – Possible Release and How to Obtain It
When will Ayaka be available in the game? We expect the banner to find its way into the game on July 21, along with patch 2.0. The patch will be released simultaneously on all platforms.
How to obtain Ayaka? New characters are usually obtained through wishes and banners, which cost primogems. This currency can be farmed in the game, but it is relatively slow. However, you can also buy creation crystals for real money to open the banners.
Genshin Impact guarantees that you will receive new characters in their banner (and by the way, only there, and as long as the banner exists), but even here a character can cost up to €440.
