Many gamers use a gaming headset on PC, PS5, or Xbox. One is currently on sale and can be highly recommended by MeinMMO editor Benedikt Schlotmann.
Which gaming headset are we talking about? The Logitech G PRO X LIGHTSPEED is a mid-range gaming headset from the manufacturer Logitech. The headset is available in both wired and wireless (Lightspeed) versions. Logitech has also introduced a successor meanwhile.
Personally, the Logitech G PRO X LIGHTSPEED has accompanied me for years in everyday life. Whether gaming or in the office. Currently, you can get the gaming headset for under 100 Euros, and I consider that a fair deal.

Good sound, decent equipment, but weak battery life
What I like: The sound is surprisingly neutral and factual for a gaming headset, but there is a noticeable emphasis in the bass range that adds extra punch to action-packed scenes. However, it’s not so exaggerated that you can’t hear anything else.
Another plus point: The contents of the headset package. Besides the obligatory cables, the headset also includes a cloth bag for transport and interchangeable ear pads. You can choose whether you prefer to wear leatherette or fabric pads. In my experience, fabric pads are more comfortable to wear and also easier to clean. However, fabric tends to attract pet hairs like magic.
Are there any downsides? The battery life is not perfect and usually lasts only 2 to 3 days. Depending on how extensively one plays or uses the headset. Other wireless headsets offer significantly more endurance. For example, the HyperX Cloud Alpha Wireless, which the manufacturer advertises with a 300-hour battery life. Or the SteelSeries Arctis 7 Nova, which I prefer to use on the PS5.
The microphone is okay, but could be better. This is mainly due to the wireless connection, which affects the microphone quality. Usually, I combine a headset/headphones with a table microphone in everyday life, so I don’t weigh the microphone too heavily. Additionally, I can detach the microphone, so it doesn’t bother me in everyday situations.
What I also find unfortunate: Logitech only uses a padded headband made of memory foam. Other manufacturers additionally use an elastic headband that cushions the weight of the headset.
