In WoW: Midnight the dungeon event has started. Included is a quest that rewards you with epic raid loot. What you need to do for that, we reveal in the report.
How do I get the epic loot piece? Travel to the center of Silvermoon to pick up the quest Envoy of War from Archmage Aethas Sunreaver in the modernized capital of WoW: Midnight. For this task, you need to complete 4 random dungeons on the Mythic difficulty level.
If you succeed, you can claim your reward from the Archmage: a chest with treasures from Quel’Thalas. This may contain a random heroic gear piece with item level 259. The pool includes all loot from the raid instances of Season 1, with one exception: you cannot obtain pieces of the current tier sets in this way.
With a bit of luck to the desired Epic
With a bit of luck, you can earn your missing desired item through the quest, such as the trinket Glimpse of the Watcher (provides a bonus for mastery and grants your attacks and heals the chance to increase your primary stat), which normally requires you to defeat Chimaerus in the Dream Rift.
Note that you may tackle the mythic dungeons for completing the quest at any level. You can also just set off without extra keystones and clear the instances in four quick runs on Mythic 0. This way, you also make progress this week for the dungeon area of the Great Vault, rewarding you with additional loot at the start of the next ID – 4 runs are already enough for 2 unlocks.
What else does the event offer? The event not only brings the quest Envoy of War to Silvermoon, but you also receive additional loot in all dungeons of Midnight. However, this only applies if you defeat the respective final boss. He then has an additional reward for you in the loot bag. The current event is therefore perfect for everyone who enjoys running a few relaxed dungeons each week.
