In Throne and Liberty, the Halloween event is still running this week. While some players might miss it, the end of the event means a lot of work for those who haven’t done anything yet.
What kind of event is this? From October 25, 2024, to November 14, 2024, the Halloween event takes place in Throne and Liberty. The entire map is decorated, and there are additional vendors selling event-related goods. However, for many, the event dungeon is the highlight of the game.
This not only offers players an additional dungeon but also the chance for more loot, activity points, and cosmetic items.
Here you can learn how to get bait and salt in the game:
The sounds in the dungeon become a meme
What’s up with the sounds? In the event dungeon, we encounter Lampiotinger, a flying rabbit that accompanies us through the dungeon as a speaker, similar to an Amitoi.
Just as the name of the creature suggests, the rabbit says “Ting” every few words. It’s so frequent and noticeable that players can no longer hear it (via Reddit). Some memes have developed from this:
Some players still have to run the event dungeon over 25 times this week and thus listen to a whole lot of “Ting” in a row.
Why do players have to run the dungeon so often? To receive loot from the final boss’s chest at the end of the dungeon, players must use a sugar hat. They can obtain several of these daily and can also accumulate them.
A player shared on Reddit that he has collected 26 so far. This means he has to run the event dungeon at least 26 more times before it closes on November 14. By that time, there will also be additional attempts available.
What happens to the unused currency? If the player does not complete the dungeon, their currency will likely expire. After the dungeon closes on November 14, there will still be a week to turn the collected rewards from the dungeons into items with the vendors.
By November 21, the NPCs and probably the decorations will also disappear from the game. However, it probably won’t take long, as Christmas could bring the next occasion for a new event.
