On the weekend, the first ruler of the throne will be crowned on the early access servers. The launch servers will have their turn a week later.

Who can occupy the throne? In principle, any player can become the king and ruler of Castle Watchrock and thus ascend the throne. However, in reality, this fate will only befall the guild leaders of the game’s most active and largest guilds.
On Friday, October 25, at 00:00, it will be decided for the early access servers who the first ruler of the castle will be. The drawing for the normal servers will take place on October 30 at 00:00.
The guild that is ranked first in the guild ranking at that time will automatically become the first defender of Castle Watchrock and thus be the ruler of the castle until the first siege.
How do you reach rank 1 in the guild ranking? To ensure that your guild becomes the defender and ruler of Castle Watchrock right from the start, you need to collect guild points. These guild points consist of guild activity points and the personal activity points of the members.
- To increase the guild activity points, your members must perform guild donations, defeat guild raid bosses, and occupy blessing and discord stones.
- To increase the personal activity points of the members, they can participate in dynamic events, fulfill contracts, defeat field bosses, and open mystical portals.
However, every day, your members lose 10% of their personal activity points. It might be worth waiting until the last day to then complete many activities at once.
What happens next? The first ruler and defender of Castle Watchrock will not remain in power forever. In the following week, there will be a tax transport to bring taxes from Vienta to the castle. At this point, all players on the server can attempt to steal the taxes. The taxes include the real-money currency Luzent.
The castle siege is the major highlight of Throne and Liberty. The defending guild and its 3 allied guilds will need to defend the castle against enemy guilds on Sundays at 16:00. Whoever sits on the throne at the end will be the new ruler of Castle Watchrock for the next two weeks and will also receive taxes in the form of Luzent and Sollant.
