In Throne and Liberty there are open-world activities that are currently causing heated discussions. Focus is once again on guilds and the conflicts between players.
What kind of activities are those? On Reddit, the player driveled posits the thesis that world bosses in the open world mutate into the worst content of Throne and Liberty as soon as the status is set to conflict (PvP is activated during the event).
Similarly frustrated comments exist about PvP events in general (for example, here on Reddit) or about the open abyss dungeons where PvP is occasionally active. The reason is usually the same: A select few alliances dominate the PvP content in the open world.

When Darkness Falls
What a powerful tool is this? The problem is exacerbated by the transcendent power “Darkness,” which allows PvP-focused groups to force other players into PvP for the next 10 minutes. In this way, it is even possible to prevent other players from challenging certain world bosses like Junobote at choke points during peaceful phases.
This is complained about, among others, by the player Known_Click on Reddit. Many other MMORPG fans agree with him:

- Blasmere complains (via Reddit): “Honestly, I’m so amazed by the people who say: This is a PvP game, if you don’t like it, stay away! That’s exactly what I’m doing, I’m staying away, and then the top 1 players enforce PvP… and I don’t get to… Darkness is a toxic ability and I hate it.”
- GoldenSnowSakura writes on Reddit: “I agree that the ability to activate PvP in an entire area is completely crazy, disgusting, and inappropriate.”
How do you get the Darkness? In total, there are three transcendence abilities that you can also look at in your skills window: Heavy Rain, Darkness, and Heavy Wind. Access to the transcendence abilities is only available under certain conditions.
- For Heavy Rain, you must be in 1st place on the activity placement when the evaluation occurs.
- For Darkness, you must be in 1st place on the kill placement.
- For Heavy Wind, you must be in 1st place on the guild placement.
The current placements can be found if you go to placement in the Community section in the main menu of the MMORPG.
