- On May 13, 2025, the new “Season of the Divide” for New World started. You can expect hardcore servers for the first time, fresh content for the Outpost Rush, a test of a “Capture the Flag” variant, and a new world boss event.
- In World of Warcraft this week, the “Turbo Boost” event has started. Here’s the deal: no matter which content you want to play right now – everything contributes to character improvement.

- Update 2.10.0 is live for Throne and Liberty. Almost exactly 20 years ago, the paladin Leeroy Jenkins stormed into a room full of dragon eggs, causing the most famous wipe in WoW history and one of the first memes from the gaming sector. For the anniversary, not just the developers congratulate, a community manager also recalls the moment of seeing the video for the first time.

This is what happened in MMORPGs in development:
- With Aion 2, a new and important MMORPG is set to launch in Korea this year, which will later also come to the West. Now the developers are showing new content from the game, but the fans have high expectations.
- The new MMORPG BitCraft Online is preparing for its early access launch on Steam with a new trailer. Particularly interesting: The developers want to make the code open to the public and work on the game together with the community.
- Things are not going well for the MMORPG Pax Dei. Players are expected to pay monthly for the most important feature before the final release of the game.
- Originally, Blue Protocol was considered a failed MMORPG that would never make it to the West. But now the game has been revived and is set to be released in Germany later this year, also on Steam.
