A player named Gantz the Demon has now received quite a bit of attention after allegedly killing several teammates.
This was brought to attention by another player named Indublibable on Reddit. It is said that Gantz the Demon enjoys eliminating his teammates purely for fun. There is no other practical reason.
How to deal with the traitor
What tips are there for dealing with Gantz? The Reddit user Indublibable further writes that all players who join a team with Gantz should be cautious of him.
If one is willing to risk their life, they should do what they deem right. It is important: The message of nasty Gantz should be spread throughout the world. The actions of the nasty one must not go unpunished.
However, one should only open fire on Gantz when he truly shows his evil side. As proof of the player’s betrayal, the TikTok account @superearthbroadcast released a video. It shows dramatic scenes:
What are the next steps? In another TikTok from user @commander_skunk, a bounty of 10,000 Super Credits is placed on Gantz the Demon.
Players are to show the traitor what it means to betray Super-Earth. After all, the soldiers killed will never return to their families. This cannot go unpunished.
The video leaves open how the bounty will be awarded in the event of a successful capture of Gantz.

Has Gantz the Demon spoken out yet? Apparently, yes. In a own TikTok, a player claiming to be Gantz pleads his innocence. The video shows the same scene as above, only this time from Gantz’s perspective:
He explains that he was playing with a friend who was then suddenly killed by another player. In response, Gantz killed the murderer. Ultimately, however, the impression was created that Gantz himself was the first to point the weapon at his own teammates.
In the comments, Gantz receives support. A fan even offered him an interview where he can further defend himself. Whether the community will believe him in the end remains to be seen. The story shows, however, that in Helldivers 2 enemies of freedom and democracy can expect some backlash. And now back to work; bugs must be eliminated.
