In EA FC 25, you can grab your own strong Team of the Year player (TOTY) in Ultimate Team without spending a coin. On MeinMMO, we show you how it works.
How do I get the TOTY star? As part of the TOTY warm-up, which was released on Tuesday evening (January 14), EA informed us that we are allowed to create our own TOTY star.
You get the TOTY star by developing him through several evolutions (EVOs). Over the next few days, you can unlock these in various ways.

What tasks do I have to complete? In the announcement on January 14 in Ultimate Team, EA revealed how you can unlock the individual EVOs for the TOTY star:
- Complete the daily login SBC 1 time (available now)
- Complete the daily game task 2 times (available from January 17)
- You will get 2 EVOs in the TOTY cup task group (available from January 20)
- Score 1 goal in 8 separate matches
- Win 15 matches
- Complete the daily game task 9 times (available from January 24)
- Complete the TOTY EE draft task group (available from January 25)
- Win 10 games in draft mode (single-player or online)
TOTY Star EVOs: Requirements and Upgrades
Where can I find the first EVO? You will find the first EVO after you have completed the task and claimed your reward in the objectives, in the shop. If you have added it to your club there, you can activate it in the evolutions under the tab “Cosmetic and exclusive content”.
However, to start with the first EVO, your player must meet certain requirements.

In total, you can unlock 6 EVOs for your TOTY star. Each individual EVO improves one of the 6 main stats that you see on the card, namely pace, shooting, passing, dribbling, defense, or physical.
