In Diablo 4, Season 7 has begun. It starts off with a bang: A boss presents players with a significant challenge.
The new Season 7 of Diablo 4, the “Season of Witch Power”, started on January 21. Accordingly, there is a lot of focus on witchcraft.
To progress here, you need to complete tasks for the “Whispering Tree” and defeat a new enemy type: the Headless.
And one such enemy is currently a topic in the Diablo community. One of the first Headless bosses is quite a handful.
The Headless Husk poses a challenge for players – unexpectedly cool
Looking around in the Diablo 4 community, one enemy stands out: The “Enraged Headless Husk,” or one of the “Headless Huses,” is perceived by some as a damn tough first boss.
This seems to surprise many who were perhaps used to slicing through various enemies with strong gear and powerful abilities without encountering too much resistance from the last season. But after the reset, things are different. You start over, and it can indeed happen that a boss is hard to beat.
However, that is not the only point: players generally see the new boss as a step up in terms of difficulty and enemies at the beginning of a new season. Some players who are currently playing on “Hard” find themselves confronted with a tough opponent – and might even downshift a level because of it.
What do players say? In the Diablo 4 subreddit, several comments have emerged regarding the Enraged Headless Husk. A user named HiFiMAN3878
, who has over 2000 hours in Diablo 4, posted that he couldn’t defeat the boss with his Barbarian on “Hard” (via reddit).
Many comments follow:
Yes, but it’s doable… at least there’s a challenge here
, comments user PristineRatio4117 (via reddit). It’s not just you. Lol. My Rogue can’t take him down either
, comments user Thanadeath (via reddit). That’s D4. Ironically, the hardest part of the game is level 1-20 or so. Then you start getting powers and damage scaling, and it never feels particularly challenging again
, suggests user patrincs (via reddit).
Some comment that they would rather lower the difficulty to deal with the boss. But it is also notable that others find this good for the game. They talk about a nice challenge at the start, and that one really has to think to bring down the opponent.
