Snipers have the iconic white glow in Battlefield 6, but when the camper suddenly glows in color, you should quickly take cover.
What is the deal with the perfect distance? In Battlefield 6, the so-called “Sweet Spot” for sniper rifles has returned.
The Sweet Spot is the perfect distance for snipers, as you can kill enemies with a single shot to the upper body at that distance. If you are outside the Sweet Spot, a shot to the upper body won’t be enough. You are either too close or too far away and will need a second shot or a headshot.
The glow reveals the potential danger
How can you tell if a shot would kill you? In Battlefield 6, snipers have the familiar white glow of the scope, which reveals a sniper’s position. However, if you are within a sniper’s Sweet Spot, the glow is no longer white, but colored. The reflection of the scope is then blue-yellow.
If you see a sniper with a blue-yellow glow instead of a white glow, you should take cover as quickly as possible because you are within their perfect distance, and they can take you out with a single shot.
Are all body shots in the Sweet Spot fatal? No, not necessarily. Shots to the stomach area can be survived, for example. However, a shot to the heart level, neck area, or shoulders is sufficient.
How far is the Sweet Spot? It depends on the weapon being used. The first available sniper rifle, the M2010 ESR, has its Sweet Spot roughly in the range of 70 to 85 meters. However, we cannot currently tell you an exact distance. It’s best to experiment a little yourself.
