In Neva, you embark on a journey accompanied by a wolf cub through a world that is about to fall apart. The game is available, among other platforms, on Steam and PS5.
What kind of game is this? Neva is a new action-adventure game from Nomada Studio. The developers also released the award-winning platform adventure Gris. It won the award in the “Games for Impact” category at the Game Awards 2019.
Together with a young wolf, the young Alba travels through a world that is gradually falling apart around her. To withstand the dark forces that have cursed their world, the two must learn to work together.
Neva will be released on October 15, 2024, for PC on Steam, as well as for the consoles PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and the Nintendo Switch. You can get a first impression of the game in the trailer.

Beautiful platformer with combat elements
What does the trailer show? Like Gris, Neva is also a 2D platformer, but in the latter, combat is involved as well. Alba draws her sword, and your wolf companion also joins vigorously. Thus, Neva is likely to offer more of a challenge.
As expected from the developers, the visuals are once again one of the biggest highlights. The game offers literally picturesque landscapes through which Alba and her companion move with fluid animations.
The GamePro had the following to say about the graphics in their review of Neva: “Neva is beautiful and like Gris, a work of art turned into a video game that I would love to have printed and hung on my wall.”
The developers announced on X that Neva and Gris will also be available as a bundle on Steam. There, both games are offered with a 15% discount. Additionally, there will be a Deluxe Edition of Neva that includes not only the game but also a digital art book and the soundtrack.
