“I loved them from the first second” – Players in The First Descendant are thrilled that their favorite weapon is finally strong

The First Descendant makes a weapon stronger with the latest update, making it finally usable – which pleases some players.

Which weapon is it? The ultimate weapon “Greg’s Reversed Fate.” This is a tactical rifle that has been in the game since release. The special property of the rifle allows bombs to fall on hit enemies at a certain rate.

With hotfix 1.0.5, “Greg’s Reversed Fate” now received a buff, significantly strengthening the weapon. Before the patch, the rifle was considered too weak to compete with the other ultimate weapons.

Why is the weapon stronger now? The bombardment effect of “Greg’s Reversed Fate” is now triggered by enemies without (full) shields since the update. This significantly increases the perk’s activation rate compared to before the update, even though the trigger rate was reduced from 40% to 20%.

Additionally, a new option was introduced that allows semi-automatic weapons to be fired automatically. If you enable the option in the settings, you can simply hold down the fire button to shoot automatically with semi-automatic weapons as well.

The combination of automatic shooting and the fact that the rifle’s ability is now triggered by shield-less enemies allows you to deal enormous damage with the weapon, providing an effective means against mobs.

What do the players say about the weapon boost? Players are happy that the weapon is now enjoyable to play and finally feels like an ultimate weapon:

Of course, there are also some players who are not yet convinced of the new damage output of the rifle. However, since the ultimate perk is now activated significantly more often, there is at least hope that the weapon could now be useful in some builds.
