Beginners in GTA Online often have a tough time because they need to gain experience first. MyMMO author Eilyn Rapp is happy to provide support and cannot understand why other experienced players do not like to help.
Why do beginners have it tough in GTA Online? In the multiplayer mode of Grand Theft Auto V, multiple players from around the world are thrown together in a session. There are also different level tiers.
Beginners then face experienced players, but they do not have the same chance in a fight. The “pros” are better equipped with the best weapons and the coolest vehicles. However, there are also cool cars that are particularly suitable for beginners.
But they must first unlock these and gather enough money to even afford the gear. When beginners meet experienced players with their weak weapons, it is often clear who will come out victorious in the fight.
Right now, some new beginners are probably joining after GTA Online was offered for free on the Epic Games Store for a short time. There was such a huge rush of players wanting to download the game for free that the store went down.

How do I help inexperienced players? There are various ways I can help inexperienced players in GTA Online. When I find myself in a session, I am often looking for jobs and simply join various heist missions. As luck would have it, I am usually the player with the highest level in the group.
You can tell that the beginners are happy to have an experienced player on their team because they start the mission so quickly that you can’t even say “A”. After that, it goes on with suddenly 3 players arguing about who gets to ride with you in the “cool” car. I always try to make the ride as exciting as possible for them.
In the final mission of a heist, the big reward is distributed among the players. Sometimes I don’t take any money for the help because beginners can use it much more. If we are not successful, then the mission is repeated until we succeed; no one gives up!
Why do I like to help inexperienced players? I have to say that I was lucky when I entered the world of Los Santos. In a close-knit group of friends, I could learn and practice all the game mechanics until I got the hang of it. That’s how I fell in love with GTA, and I couldn’t imagine how disappointed I would have been if I had to deal with random players who wouldn’t accept me.
For beginners who enter GTA Online alone, I wish the same, that they can have a successful gaming experience. They should have fun with the game and not have to leave frustrated again because experienced players won’t let them play.

The topic is important to me, and I am all the more disappointed when I see how some experienced players treat beginners. In my time in GTA Online, I have seen various ways inexperienced players are treated. Whether they are called “noob” or “loser” or are not allowed to participate in missions.
Yes, there are high levels who kick beginners out of their heists, and that is not even rare. I can understand that it can be tedious to take an inexperienced player along because the missions are hard and require strategy, but weren’t we all at that point? How are they supposed to gain experience and learn if we don’t let them try?
Then there are still a type of players who simply have nothing better to do than pick on beginners. It is indeed so hard to kill a weaker opponent – over and over again for hours. The poor beginners can’t even run away because they are immediately killed again.
To all these “pros”: Congratulations, you belong to the most annoying player types you can encounter in GTA Online!
It would be nice if we could all help each other instead of attacking beginners. Then everyone has fun with the game, and eventually beginners will not be inexperienced anymore. Let’s allow them to explore the world of Los Santos and try different things in GTA Online until then. I will certainly continue to do so and support every beginner I encounter.
