Taming horses – Here’s how: To own a horse, you must tame it. Without taming, the horse will not recognize you as its owner and will flee from you in fright every time. Therefore, it is no surprise that fans of Minecraft are now also trying to tame their mounts in Hytale.
Since update 4, the feature regarding taming has been added and to tame horses from now on, you need to proceed as follows:
- Approach a horse
- Press “F” to use the tame button
- Look at the speech bubble to find out what food your horse needs
- Equip the food and press “F” again
- Your horse has now been tamed
What has changed since the update? With the taming update, the tamed animals no longer run away from you. Before, it was necessary to get on horses, quickly park them in a stable, and then secure them with high fences. With the new feature, both the animals and your horses are friendly towards you once you have tamed them.
You can now mount and dismount without a saddle, without fear that your horse will flee immediately afterward. Your means of transportation remains with you and even looks at you.
