The Detective Pikachu event of Pokémon GO is live! In the event, there are four quests that are quite difficult to solve. We provide you with the solutions.
What kind of quests are these? These tasks are not like regular tasks; you need to know more about the Pokémon to understand which monster is required here.
Once you know the Pokémon, the task becomes much easier to solve. We give you an overview.
The Water Pokémon in the backpack and the Seed Pokémon in the river
These are the quests: There are a total of four new field researches for you to solve. Two of the four tasks are easy to solve, while the other two require a bit more background knowledge.
- Catch the Seed Pokémon that is walking in the river (Bulbasaur)
- Reward: Encounter with a Treecko
- Catch the Water Pokémon that is being carried in a backpack (Psyduck)
- Reward: Encounter with a Magikarp
- Catch the Fire-type evolution of Eevee (Flareon)
- Reward: Encounter with an Arcanine
- Catch 10 Snubbull, Jigglypuff, or Starly
- Reward: Encounter with a Ditto (Disguised as Zubat)
That’s why these tasks are set: If you go to the movie “Detective Pikachu,” which premieres on May 9, you will receive the solutions to the quests. All the sought-after Pokémon will be shown there, and you will get the answers.
What else is there at the event? The event is again full of Pokémon that can also be shiny. This includes Starly, which can be found for the first time in its shiny form.
Besides Starly, there are Pokémon like Snubbull, Bulbasaur, or Trubbish to find as shiny. In addition, you will receive a Pikachu with a detective hat as a photobomb. We have already published a detailed guide for you on this.
In addition to the event Pokémon, you will also get double XP when catching Pokémon and new avatar items related to Detective Pikachu.
How long will the event last? You have a total of 10 days for the Detective Pikachu event. The event and the quests will end on May 17.
