In Pokémon GO the Community Day May 2019 with Cyndaquil starts on Sunday. We show you which trick you can use to prepare right now.
This is what the Community Day brings: On Sunday, May 19, at 3 PM, the Community Day in May starts. This time it revolves around the fire starter Cyndaquil.
In addition to Cyndaquil, there is also triple Stardust when catching Pokémon. To help you collect as much Stardust as possible, we give you a tip for preparation.
Make these preparations for the Community Day
This is how you get maximum Stardust: Even though the Community Day is still a few days away, you can already prepare.
Complete quests now that reward you with evolutions. Don’t catch these Pokémon and keep them in your quest stack. You can then catch them on Community Day and collect triple Stardust.
That’s why evolutions are worth it: The evolutions of Pokémon simply bring more Stardust. For example, you get 300 Stardust for a 2nd evolution, such as Pidgeotto, without an event. For a final evolution, such as Pidgeot, you even get 500 Stardust.
When you receive triple Stardust on Community Day, you can really rake it in. If you even use a Star Piece, you’ll get even more Stardust.
Prepare with these quests: In the field research of May there are numerous quests that bring you evolutions. We provide you with a list here:
- Catch 5 Fighting-type Pokémon
- Encounter with a Shroomish
- Use 10 Razz Berries to catch Pokémon
- Encounter with a Corphish
- Use 5 Berries to catch Pokémon
- Encounter with a Ludicolo
- Use 5 Nanab Berries to catch Pokémon
- Encounter with a Swallot
- Send 10 gifts to friends
- Encounter with an Alolan Exeggutor
- Catch the fire-type evolution of Eevee (exclusive until May 17)
- Encounter with an Arcanine
This is how you use the quests effectively: If you have some of the Pokémon in your quest stack, don’t rest on these monsters.
Stay active during the 3 hours of the event and catch all Pokémon that are around. Only use the quests when you have nothing to catch in the wild.
What other preparations should I make? If you want to catch a lot, you should also have a good supply of Poké Balls. Cyndaquil will have a better catch rate again, but will still consume numerous balls. So start saving some balls now.
Additionally, you should have at least 6 Star Pieces in stock. They last for 30 minutes each and can be effectively used throughout the Community Day.
