Outriders offers numerous combinations for equipment. It can take a lot of time to build the perfect build. MeinMMO presents a method that allows you to effectively improve your build and also farm heaps of resources.
What is this method? This way allows you to easily gather a lot of equipment. This gives you a wide selection of items that you can then improve with the crafting system.
Additionally, you will get a lot of materials like leather, iron, or titanium. With a bit of luck, there are even a few legendary items, but the probability for that is very low.
What are the prerequisites for this method? You must have reached the Dunes in the story. There you will find the hunting quest “Hauras”. While there are other hunting missions that work too, Hauras is considered the most efficient farming quest in the community.
Unlike many other hunting quests, the targets spawn here directly, without needing to clear waves of enemies beforehand.
We will show you a method that allows you to do this efficiently and also brings heaps of resources.
Once you complete all of them, you will receive a legendary piece of armor at the end. There are similar quest series like the Wanted and the Historian missions that also reward you with legendary items when you complete all 10 of them. Like all other missions, they can be repeated.
Optimize builds and farm resources through hunting quests
This is how the method works: To activate the mission, you need to head to the Dunes near the Purple Oasis to the west. Then you should find the bone pile and the quest marker. Now follow these steps:
- Go to the quest area and start it.
- Complete the first phase.
- Proceed to the second area of the quest.
- There you will encounter two minibosses alongside numerous smaller enemies.
- Kill the two minibosses.
- Let the remaining creatures take you down.
- Now you restart from the checkpoint and can kill the two minibosses again.
- You can repeat this as long as you want.
You can now use the items or dismantle them to get resources.
Keep in mind that the equipment that drops here can have a maximum level of 42. This is because outside of expeditions, this is the highest item level you can reach with the last world tier 15 during the story.
Farming method suitable for the endgame
Who is this suitable for? Basically for players of all progress levels. Those currently in the story campaign can upgrade their equipment here and be ready for higher world tiers.

Since weapons and armor parts with their various attributes offer a wide range of possible combinations, it can be quite time-consuming to build the perfect build.
Additionally, there are armor and weapon mods that also play an important role.
What attributes are there? You can have the following values on your armor:
Main attributes for armor
- Bonus weapon damage
- Anomaly
- Max health
Main attributes for weapons
- Critical damage
- Armor piercing
- Life steal
Additional attributes
- Status effects
- Healing
- Life steal from abilities
- Long-range damage
- Short-range damage
Why should you farm here instead of in the expeditions? On one hand, you are quicker with the hunting quest. On the other hand, you only receive your expedition rewards if you actually complete them.
The risk of failing a hunting quest is rather low. If you have already reached the endgame, this shouldn’t be a problem anyway.
Also, the maximum item level of 42 should not deter you. Because in the endgame, you accumulate resources endlessly, which should make it easy to upgrade a level 42 godroll to the desired level.
Rare equipment is also valuable
What you should pay attention to: Not only epic (purple) or legendary equipment is important in Outriders. You can also upgrade rare (blue) equipment at the crafting bench to epic level. This even gives you the opportunity to create items according to your wishes. At least partially.
How does it work? With each upgrade of rarity, your item gets an additional modification. At each tier, you can choose one from three random modifications.
The first mod is a rank-1 modification and the second is a rank-2 mod. Again, it’s based on your luck, but it is still better than hoping for a suitable drop.
