The series Arcane celebrated huge successes on Netflix. The story focuses on the two sisters Powder (Jinx) and Vi, who are also known from the game League of Legends. We at MeinMMO reveal how old Jinx was approximately at the beginning and at the end of the series.
How old was Jinx at the start of the series? Jinx was born in 975 after Noxus. In the first episodes of the series, we are around the year 985 to 990. So, she was between 10 and 15 years old at the start.
The time period itself can be determined through the character Jayce. He is 24 years old at the start of the series and was born according to official lore between 961 and 966. We oriented ourselves around these dates.
Vi, on the other hand, was born between the years 970 and 973 and is therefore 2 to 5 years older than Jinx. This roughly fits the lore of League of Legends. There, she was imprisoned at the age of 17 in the prison in Piltover.
How old is Jinx by the end of Season 1? Between episodes 3 and 4, about 5-7 years pass. Vi speaks in the series about the years she spent in prison and according to the lore, she was released from prison in her early twenties.
Jinx will therefore be between 15 and 20 years old when she performs her actions in episodes 4 to 9.
Who is Jinx anyway? Powder is Vi’s sister and lost her parents at a young age during a battle between the cities of Piltover and Zhaun. She was then raised by her guardian Vander.
