The special program for version 1.2 in Honkai: Star Rail is over. Players got a preview of the new characters, banners, and events.
On July 8, 2023, a major livestream took place, showcasing the new content in Honkai: Star Rail. The next version 1.2 is titled “Even Immortality Ends.” The release date for version 1.2 is July 19, 2023.
Version 1.2 contains the following new content:
- 3 new playable characters
- 2 new areas
- 2 new companion missions

These are the banners in version 1.2 with Kafka and Blade
Who are the new characters? Blade is a 5-star character on the path of destruction and the combat type Wind. He belongs to the Stellaron Hunters and was once immortal. As a result, his body has self-healing powers. In battle, Blade can sacrifice his own health points to deal even greater damage to enemies.
Kafka is also a 5-star character and a fearless Stellaron Hunter. She fights on the path of nothingness and as a lightning character. With her skill, she can deal damage to multiple enemies at once. Additionally, her ultimate has a chance to inflict a shock status on the affected enemies.
The last addition is Luka, a physical 4-star figure on the path of nothingness. With his ability, he inflicts physical damage on his targeted enemy and has a chance to apply the “Bleed” status. When using his ultimate, he deals damage and there is a chance that the targeted enemy will suffer greater damage for a certain number of rounds.
What banners will be available in version 1.2? The new version will run in 2 phases:
In the first phase, the banner for the 5-star character Blade will run. Here, the 4-star figures Arlan, Sushang, and Natasha will have a higher chance of being drawn.
In the 2nd phase, you can secure 5-star character Kafka. The 4-star character Luka will also be obtainable. Additionally, Sampo and Serval will have increased chances.
You can also obtain the corresponding light cones “The Unreachable Side” from Blade and “Patience Is All You Need” from Kafka through the light cone action warps.

What else will there be in version 1.2? In addition to the new characters and banners, there will be 2 new areas, the Alchemy Commission and the Shroombog. The main story will also continue, and new enemies will appear in the game.

There will also be updates for the Forgotten Hall and the Universe Simulation. Additionally, you can play 2 new companion missions for Kafka and Yukong in the next update.
