At Blizzard, there is a plan for a cross-promotion between the online card game Hearthstone and the MOBA Heroes of the Storm. Those who play one will receive some rewards in the other.
If you reach level 12 in Heroes of the Storm, you will soon be able to enjoy this card back in Hearthstone:
Level 12 is already quite decent, but it’s not an insane marathon that Hearthstone players will face when they go for this back and want nothing to do with HotS. The back will probably be available when Heroes of the Storm officially releases on June 2. Before that, there will already be an open beta.
In Heroes of the Storm, players will also get to see something from Hearthstone. New mounts planned are “card backs.” You will probably receive this if you win 100 matches in Hearthstone. It’s not a Herculean task, but it does require some effort. These mounts, reminiscent of flying carpets, should be available starting June 2.
This information is not super official yet, as it was found in a beta patch by data miners. However, it all seems plausible and would fit Blizzard.
