In Diablo 4 there are particularly rare, unique items – the Mythic Uniques. This includes the helmet Heir of Perdition (Heir of Perdition
). We show you how to obtain the helmet and what makes it special.
What kind of item is this? Heir of Perdition is a mythic helmet. This means it is one of the rarest items in Diablo 4. The Mythic Unique is one of the uniques introduced in Season 6 of Diablo 4. All classes can equip the helmet.
What can the item do? The helmet has interesting effects as it gives you a bonus to your damage against angels and demons. Basically, this means: You deal more damage against a large number of monsters that you encounter in Sanctuary, such as in the Hell Flood.
However, there are no angels in Diablo 4. They were introduced in Diablo 3 with the Reaper of Souls expansion. What exactly this means remains unclear.

Additionally, it increases your overall damage and grants you bonuses to the following stats:
- critical hit chance
- chance for lucky hits
- movement speed
- ranks on core skills
To determine which item is better, you should activate two settings in Diablo 4:
Target farm Heir of Perdition
Where can I find the Heir of Perdition? To have the Mythic Unique drop, you can try your luck with the “tormented” bosses. You can find the bosses since Season 6 on the four new torment levels and can summon them with the usual materials. You no longer need Stygian stones for this.
From torment level 1, all bosses have a chance to drop mythics when you defeat them and are thus suitable for farming uniques and mythic uniques specifically. Additionally, it is possible to obtain mythics as loot drops outside of the bosses – but this is very rare.
You can also craft the Mythic Unique Heir of Perdition yourself at the jeweler of your choice in Diablo 4. However, you will need two “Splendid Sparks”, runes, and 5,000 gold for this. At the blacksmith, you can craft a random Mythic Unique from two sparks. Where to get the sparks and what you can craft with them is explained here: Diablo 4: Crafting Splendid Sparks – How to craft Mythic Uniques with it
