The fans were excited because today (04.03.2019) Gearbox was supposed to release new information about Borderlands 3. This is exactly what the developers did just a few minutes ago, revealing when the wild shooter will be released. We have all the information for you.
When is Borderlands 3 coming out? The official date announced on Twitter aligns with the previous leaks and rumors. Borderlands 3 will be released on September 13, 2019, on PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One, which is less than half a year away.
New trailer introduces the team: Coinciding with the official announcement, a new trailer was also released, which is supposed to give a small first impression of the game. It is, in the broadest sense, a montage of already known game scenes that were released a few days ago. However, a clear focus was placed this time on the characters, the playable heroes, and the adversaries.
Borderlands in the Epic Games Store: The new trailer now also clearly states what many had already feared. At the end of the trailer, alongside the PS4 and Xbox One logos, the Epic Games Store logo can also be seen. Borderlands 3 will be available exclusively in the Epic Games Store for over 7 months – only afterward will it be possible to purchase it “on other platforms”.
