What do you need the fruit for? You need the Amakumo Fruit if you want to ascend the new 5-star character Shogun Raiden (“Baal”).
For ascension, you need 10, 20, 30, 45, and for the final ascension 60 Amakumo Fruits. Additionally, you also need “Storm Pearls” for the ascension, which can also only be found on Seirai.
Where can you find the fruit? You can only find the fruit on the new island Seirai, which came to Genshin Impact with update 2.1. At the current time (September 5), you can only collect the fruit here.
If you have collected seeds for the fruit, you can also plant the fruit in your garden in your teapot – the housing in Genshin Impact.
The best Amakumo Fruit locations
Here, we present to you the most important locations for the fruit. We will introduce you to both northern and southern locations. In the northern half, you will not be damaged by the thunderstorm that rages at the beginning on Seirai.
At each marked location on the map, you will find several fruits. The plants have blue leaves, and the pink fruits are in the middle.
What you need to consider: Although you can enter the southern part, there is a severe thunderstorm there. This can be removed if you complete the quest regarding the new boss “Incarnation of Thunder.” As long as you do not complete the quest, you will take damage every few seconds when entering the southern area.
However, this is where the particularly rewarding locations are.
These are the northern locations: In the northern area, you won’t find many fruits, but there are a handful of worthwhile spots. You can safely harvest these without being struck by the thunderstorm.
These are the southern locations: In the south, there are significantly more locations. However, these are initially still “protected” by the bad weather, and you will take damage every few seconds. Once you have defeated the boss “Incarnation of Thunder” for the first time, the bad weather will disappear completely.
On average, the fruits grow back every two days and behave like other collectible items. If you have collected all the fruits, you will have to wait a few days for the fruits to be available again.
