Rank 3: Lord Mazdamundi
Lord Mazdamundi is one of the Slann. These are ancient, toad-like creatures that are among the oldest beings in Warhammer Fantasy, as well as powerful wizards. Of the still living Slann, Mazdamundi is the oldest and most powerful: His magic shakes mountains and devastates entire cities.

Long before Sigmar founded the Empire of Man, Lord Mazdamundi shook several dwarf fortresses in the World Edge Mountains with heavy earthquakes. This was followed by thousands of years during which the ancient realm of the Dwarfs was in decline. The Dwarfs themselves refer to this time as the “Time of Mourning” or the “Age of Tears”.
However, the Slann can not only cause earthquakes but also reduce cities to rubble – and that through sheer concentration of his thoughts. He can even part entire seas. Despite his great power, Lord Mazdamundi came to the realization during the End Times that the plan of the Old Ones – his creators and those of the world – had failed.
Knowing that the world could no longer be saved, he wanted to at least buy it some time. Shortly before his death, Lord Mazdamundi fought against the moon Morrslieb, which was torn apart by the Skaven and crashed down in parts onto the world. However, he failed, and another, even more powerful Slann had to complete his work.
