Astragoth, Drazhoath, and Zhatan – the most powerful of the Chaos Dwarfs
As traitors despised by the rest of the Dawi, the Dawi Zharr, the Chaos Dwarfs, are the evil counterpart to the Dwarfs, having turned away from the others and embraced Chaos. They live in the nightmarish lands of darkness and instead of their ancestors, they worship Hashut, a lesser Chaos god. The “Father of Darkness,” as they call him, even allows them to wield magic – something that Dwarfs cannot normally do. However, they pay for this with a curse: the more magic the Dawi Tharr wield, the more they petrify, piece by piece.

Since there is very little known about individual characters of the Chaos Dwarfs, we will present them to you here collectively:
Astragoth Eisenfaust
He is the oldest living wizard of the Chaos Dwarfs and a high priest of Hashut. His body has almost completely turned to stone, a side effect of his magic. Only thanks to a mechanical exoskeleton can Astragoth still move and fight.
Although his magical powers diminish due to the advancing petrification, he is not weak. He might not be able to match the most powerful wizards from Warhammer Fantasy.
Drazhoath the Ashen
The Chaos Dwarf was banished to the Black Fortress by Astragoth when he was still an insignificant Hellsmith. There, his hunger for power grew, and he became a powerful wizard.
Drazhoath is inherently cunning and shows no mercy regarding his ambitions. These traits serve him well in the brutal politics of the Dawi Zharr.
Zhatan the Black
In a land permeated by cruelty, Zhatan the Black stands out with his brutality. All Chaos Dwarfs hold slaves who fuel their industry and war machinery. However, the commander of the Tower of Zharr constantly leads expeditions to acquire new slaves.
Numerous Goblin tribes in his sphere of influence have already submitted to him and send their own members as slaves to his fortress – a tribute to escape his cruelty.
