When the energetic Haruka Ozawa seeks his help because one of her friends is being haunted by a ghost, Yakumo becomes embroiled in a series of supernatural cases. Together with Haruka and the police, he tries to bring peace to the dead and uncover dark secrets. However, he also gets closer to his own past and the painful truths about his family.
