9. Sister Krone (The Promised Neverland)
Sister Krone appears in the anime series “The Promised Neverland.” She appears in the first season and plays an important role as an adversary but also as a tragic figure. In “The Promised Neverland,” the world is controlled by demons that devour human brains as a delicacy. This is kept secret from the children, as fear would affect the quality of the taste.
Krone is sent to the orphanage after Isabella (the caretaker) realizes that some children have discovered the secret of the farm. Krone is meant to assist in monitoring the children and trying to uncover their escape plan – she poses a threat to the children as well as a rival to Isabella, as she secretly wants to take the caretaker’s place.
10. Gaku Yashiro (Erased)
Gaku Yashiro is the antagonist of the series “Erased” – a mystery drama with time travel elements. He initially presents himself as a helpful teacher but turns out to be a brutal serial killer with a cold, manipulative personality.
Yashiro is responsible for a series of child abductions and murders that take place in the 1980s. He perfectly disguises himself as a trustworthy adult, even assisting the protagonist Satoru Fujinuma. He observes his surroundings closely, plans meticulously, and eliminates anyone who could uncover his crimes.
Not all villains scream their evil out loud – some hide it behind a smile. However, one villain who likes to showcase his horror is Freezer from Dragon Ball. In one movie, he wants to return to Earth for revenge, but is warned: 10 years ago, a villain in Dragon Ball was warned by 2 powerful warriors, but they were neither Goku nor Vegeta.
