A card for Hearthstone players is only available if they purchase the whole story expansion “The Big Heist.” However, it does deliver solid value – as it works like “Giggle Flip the Wonderful.”
This week, the first two wings of the Hearthstone adventure “The Big Heist” from the current expansion “Conspiracy of Shadows” will open. In addition to three card packs as rewards for completing each wing, there is another bonus if you own all wings. Only then will you receive the card “Shadow Cloak Zayle” (original: “Zayle, Shadow Cloak”).
What does Zayle, Shadow Cloak do? Zayle works very similarly to Giggle Flip the Wonderful. When you include Zayle in a deck, you don’t need to add any additional cards. Each game with the deck will then start with one of five different “evil” decks – selected at random.
A complete deck in gold: By the way, it’s particularly cool that you will receive a golden version of Zayle. This means that the decks you play will also consist entirely of golden (i.e. animated) cards. At least visually, this should certainly make an impression.
How much does Zayle cost now? In plain terms, this means that to own Zayle, you must pay €20 or 2,800 gold. All 5 wings of the adventure “The Big Heist” must be owned. Those who look at the situation more positively see the card simply as a nice bonus for anyone purchasing the complete adventure.
How good is Zayle? How good the decks that Zayle provides will be remains to be seen. However, if they are even remotely as much fun as Giggle Flip’s decks, then the card will likely be a must-buy for many.
After all, Giggle Flip will be rotated out next year, and Zayle could fill that gap. Whether Zayle’s deck will change over time or remain permanently the same remains to be seen.
Whether Zayle will later also be “craftable” (i.e. craftable for dust) remains to be seen. So far, however, it seems like a clear additional purchase argument for the expansion.
Will you get Zayle or is that even a good reason to buy the adventure “The Big Heist”? Or is such a card more reason against supporting this expansion?
