I worked for 5 years on Red Dead 2. When I got the job, I told my people, ‘I got a job at a really cool video game. But I can’t tell you anything about it.’ And they said, ‘Oh, that’s cool.’
Then a year went by, and a second year went by and they asked, ‘Are you still working on that video game you can’t talk about?’ And I said, ‘Yes.’ And they said, ‘You know Roger. It’s okay if you don’t find work. You don’t have to make up lies.’ And I was like, ‘No! I’m serious. I’m working on a video game.’
But his friends didn’t believe it. He had been telling that for 4 years.
For people around him, it seemed very unbelievable that a computer game could be in development for so long and require so much time from an actor.
