The clan “Reaper Lords” in Red Dead Online selects carefully which new members are accepted. Only a few pass the initiation ritual. Would you join this group in Red Dead Redemption 2?
What makes the clan special? The Reaper Lords clan already made a name for itself in GTA Online. The members formed a unique biker gang there with outfits, hierarchy, and code of conduct. They played GTA Online much more intensely than other players.
With the release of Red Dead Redemption 2, the clan moved into the cowboy adventure. Although they are now riding horses instead of choppers, they have maintained their tough attitude.
Anyone wishing to join the group must first undergo a series of tests and prove they truly want to be part of it.
How long does the recruitment process take? As the website Polygon reports, the recruitment process takes months. This was stated by the leader of the Reaper Lords, “Dirty_Worka”. During this time, there are several tests to complete.
These tasks await new members
Scout enemies: If you are in the recruitment process of the Reaper Lords, your scouting skills might be called upon. Dirty_Worka says that recruits may be asked to conduct reconnaissance on other groups.
This also includes writing summaries and detailed reports on the activities and locations of the members. In the future, the new jobs that are offered in Red Dead Online will likely be important as well.
Organize events: Recruits are expected to create unique events and present them to the entire group. If recruits have a concept for an event, they must promote it with flyers and word of mouth.
During special events, like the horse show last weekend, recruits prove their skills in the game. Insights into the choreography of the horse show can be found here in the Twitter clip.
Only after months will it be known who among them deserves a place in the group.
As Dirty_Worka reports, the preparation for the choreography shown above took two weeks. This was mainly due to the fact that the recruits were not allowed to communicate with each other during the performance. This way, beginners could develop good teamwork skills.
Adventures like this crazy handcar ride are definitely not among the events that recruits must complete.
The bond works even in the real world
Since the group was founded in 2013, the Reaper Lords have grown rapidly. There are over 70 members. They regularly hold meetings.
The members ride motorcycles together. They say that these biker experiences also help in Red Dead Online. Dirty_Worka writes on Twitter: “The biggest point with horses is understanding that stopping and going is like changing gears.”
The group even starts charity events, where they have already raised thousands of dollars for organizations like Make-a-Wish.
If you want to join this group, you can fill out your application on the website now. But be prepared that you might not be accepted into the Reaper Lords.
“Only about 1% of potential members ever make it in,” said Dirty_Worka.
