The team of the survival MMO H1Z1 reaches out to fans in a letter to explain how things will proceed after the layoffs.
The Daybreak Gaming Company, which also includes H1Z1, has laid off some developers last week, including team members from H1Z1. DGC aims to prevent any potential concerns and fears for the future among fans.
“Nothing is changing,” said community manager Greg Henninger in a post. The layoffs were not unexpected; it was known, but they could not say it earlier. There is enough staff to continue on the chosen path with H1Z1.
Female player models in H1Z1
Now it’s about stabilizing the current version. Once that is achieved, a revised male player model will be introduced, with more options for customization. Additionally, a female player model is also planned. Then, they want to bring the Player Studio to H1Z1, where players can design and offer their own items.
They also plan a roadmap that allows players to participate in design decisions through simple voting.
