The fantasy MMORPG Guild Wars 2 has something special in store. Enemies in certain regions will grant players access to the beta of the expansion “Heart of Thorns” upon their defeat.
This is definitely something new. As ArenaNet announced, starting from April 28th, enemies in the Trockenkuppe and the Silverwastes will leave “portals”. However, these cannot be exchanged; players must find their own portals. When such a portal is left behind, the player who defeated the enemy will gain access to the next PvE event of the closed Beta of Heart of Thorns.
It is not necessary to actually pick up the item. It is enough for it to be left behind.
This is definitely a more exciting method to earn beta access than last time, where you had to sign up for a newsletter.
