In GTA Online, the Heist Challenge for 2022 has started. We will show you what the goal is, why it’s worth it, and how much money you can currently make in Heists.
What kind of challenge is this? In the past weeks, various bonuses related to Heists have been launched in GTA Online. Everywhere, there have been lots of money and rewards for you. Until recently, even the valuable panther statue was guaranteed from the Cayo Perico Heist.
Now, the Heist event culminates in a huge challenge. How difficult it is and what lies behind it, we will explain to you here. We will also show you in which Heists you can currently earn more money.
The Heist Challenge 2022
This is the task: In 2020, there was already a similar Heist Challenge. In 7 days, you were to earn 100 billion GTA dollars in Heists. As a reward, shortly after, every participant received a gift car. The community even managed to collect 1 trillion GTA dollars.
Now, in 2022, the team wants even more from you. To be precise: Twice as much! You are to earn 2 trillion GTA dollars in Heists, and you have another week to do so. This is a community goal to which all participants contribute online.
What is the reward? That is still unclear. Rockstar Games explains that upon reaching the goal, a “special reward” will be unlocked, which will then be released later this year. In December 2020, the reward for the Heist Challenge was given.
How long do you have? Until November 30, you have time to contribute to the community goal. It doesn’t matter which Heist you play. If you’re after the money, then check out our overview of all Heists and their money rewards. But keep in mind, there are currently Heist bonuses that pay out double money on certain Heists. We will show you the overview in the next section.

- The Pacific Standard Job gives double GTA dollars and RP as a reward
- For completing the finale, there’s a gift T-shirt
- All preparation missions of the classic Heists give double GTA dollars and RP
- All preparation missions for the Doomsday Heist give 1.5 times GTA dollars and RP
