How to earn millions of dollars in GTA 5 Online

If you want to earn a lot of money in GTA 5 Online in one go, you can do that as a motorcycle club leader, CEO, or with heists.

• As a biker club boss, you can deal cocaine, trade counterfeit money, or deal weed.
• CEOs steal fat sports cars, conduct business through their hangar, or steal crate deliveries that they collect in their warehouse.
• Expensive heists bring a lot of money

In most cases, you will eventually sell the content of your warehouse and pocket a lot of cash. Nowadays, you can even conduct these sales in closed sessions or friends’ sessions. However, you make the most money when you sell in public lobbies with many opponents.

Now let’s get to the activities in GTA Online that particularly bring a lot of money.

9. Complete lucrative heists – Cayo Perico and Casino

Heists are popular among players in GTA Online. You have one or more clear objectives in mind and work through these in preparation missions. Finally, you play the big finale and stuff several million dollars into your pockets.

It should be noted that some heists pay more than others. We have an overview of all heists in GTA Online for you. There you will find out exactly what the heists are about, how much it costs to start them, and what the payout is. This all varies based on the heist and difficulty.

Do these heists: The heists Cayo Perico and the Casino heist are especially recommended. They offer the highest payouts in the game and can make you rich quickly. However, they are aimed at advanced players who are accustomed to handling weapons and armor in GTA Online.

Cayo Perico: The Cayo Perico Heist is the most lucrative and only requires a $25,000 fee to start. However, we cannot offer this to beginners, as a lot of skill and experience in GTA Online is required. If you don’t have that, the heist quickly becomes frustrating and the money doesn’t come.

If you successfully complete the heist, you can expect rewards of up to $4,570,600. Depending on how many optional objectives you complete. It is the most lucrative heist in GTA Online.

Casino: The Casino Heist is always the target of bonus weeks in GTA Online. The developers regularly bring diamonds as loot into the casino. You should hurry up and complete the heist as often as possible then. A vault room full of diamonds can earn you about 3.6 million GTA dollars in GTA Online.

10. Collecting and selling crates as CEO

If you want to start your journey as a CEO in GTA 5 Online, you first need to buy an office for that. These are available in various price categories, with only the furnishing or location changing. It does not affect your business if you buy a cheap office. The cheapest offices are around 1 million GTA dollars.

Your plan with this method is: Order crates from the office, procure them, and then store them to sell them profitably later. Therefore, you will next buy a warehouse. These come in different sizes from “small” to “large”.

A large warehouse is more profitable, as the value increases according to the number of available crates with an additional bonus. In our CEO guide, we go into more detail on this topic and explain how to make money with it.

Once you own an office and a warehouse, your CEO work can begin. In your office or in the new Terrorbyte vehicle, you will request crates that you will then gather and bring to the warehouse. You ideally do this until your warehouse is full. Then you choose the option to sell the goods on the computer in the warehouse.

Depending on the size of the goods to be sold, vehicles or boats will appear that you must bring to a destination. It is advisable to have multiple players who can protect you during the mission. The best scenario is a lobby without other enemies so that your money isn’t at risk. Other players in a lobby can destroy your cargo.

If you sell goods from a fully stocked large warehouse, you will earn about 2.3 million GTA$ (with 111 crates). However, you need to play for several hours to fill the warehouse.

11. Selling cars as CEO – Import/Export vehicle trading

If you don’t want to buy crates, you get cars through vehicle trading. For this, you need a vehicle warehouse / garage. In the computer in your office or in the Terrorbyte, you will then select the vehicle trade instead of the material procurement.

Then you select the option “Acquire Vehicle”.

You will then be assigned a vehicle of low, medium, or high sales value. Drive to its location and bring it to your warehouse. Be careful not to damage the car too much, as you will pay for the repair costs yourself.

Now you can go to your vehicle warehouse computer, tune up a stolen car, and sell it. But here’s a trick:

Collect standard and mid-range cars but do not sell them. Once you have all standard and mid-range cars in your warehouse, you will only be assigned upper-class vehicles. The game does not want to assign you the same car twice. This way, you maximize your profit when trading vehicles, as you’ll only be selling upper-class cars.

Be cautious when selling. You have to drive the tuned car to the buyer. Often, there are attacks from enemies on the way there. Kill them quickly or avoid them. Otherwise, you may lose several thousand dollars in profit due to the damage they inflict on your car.

Upper-class vehicles give $100,000 commission.

Tip: If you own a Cargobob helicopter, you can easily tow the cars from point A to B. This could make the sales much easier for you.

12. Bunker Missions as CEO

With a bunker in GTA 5 Online, you can research weapon upgrades and sell products that your staff produces. First, you have to buy a bunker, which can cost between 1,165,000 to 2,375,000 GTA dollars.

Similar to the motorcycle club, you first need to procure the products. Go to your bunker and access your laptop.

There, you have the choice to buy or steal products. For maximum profit, you should always steal the goods.

If you select “Buy Supplies,” you have to pay for it and will receive your delivery within the next ten to fifteen minutes. If you choose to steal, a mission will start that sends you across the map of GTA 5 Online.

After that, you will bring the stolen goods to your bunker to supply your hired staff with supplies. Their work will then continue passively. As long as you are in an open session as CEO, they will work for you with the supplies available. When stocks run out, work pauses until you procure new material.

You can find the current selling price of your products on the laptop in the bunker. If you think your workers have produced enough and it’s worth selling, click on “Sell Goods” and start the selling mission.

But be careful when selling: here other players in a session can attack you and destroy your products. It’s best to use an empty session for this or take enough other players as bodyguards with you.

Selling products from a full bunker brings you just over one million GTA$.

13. Motorcycle Club – selling illegal stuff

To become the head of a motorcycle club, you first need to buy a club house. Depending on the location, these cost between 200,000 – 495,000 GTA dollars.

From there, you can then expand your business and buy buildings like cocaine labs or hemp farms. The prices of these buildings also depend on the location and range between 650,000 – 1,852,500 GTA dollars.

The money-making process is similar to the bunker: you procure supplies, your employees process the products for you, and you can then sell them.

Here too, the more products you produce, the higher the selling price. If you decide to sell the product on the other side of the map, there will be a risk surcharge. After all, the chance increases that you’ll be attacked by other players along the way and they will destroy your load.

We advise solo players to sell their products when two product bars are filled. The more bars are filled, the more products you need to deliver within the given time. With a full warehouse, that means three slow trucks that you have to drive from one side of the map to the other. Alone, this is often hard to impossible.

A cocaine lab serves as a good source of income. Your NPC staff need about six hours to fill it. Afterwards, you sell the goods for over 300,000 GTA dollars.

14. Hangar Missions as CEO

As a CEO, you can also purchase a hangar. A hangar costs between 1,200,000 and 3,250,000 GTA dollars. This gives you access to Fort Zancudo airport.

To earn money through the hangar, you follow a similar principle as in the CEO job, where you procure crates.

You are free to choose which products you want to procure. There is a lot to steal, from narcotics to counterfeit goods. Depending on the mission, you will then have a certain objective.

• Perform special stunts and then pick up your goods
• Steal goods with a helicopter
• Protect other aircraft as a bodyguard, etc.

With the “San Andreas Mercenaries” update, land missions have also been added at the hangar, allowing you to procure goods without being in an aircraft. These procurement missions are often noticeably faster than the old air freight missions.

Moreover, it is now possible to sell hangar goods on land as well. These selling missions are also suitable for solo players.

You then bring the goods back to your hangar, which also serves as a warehouse. Again, if you have collected enough goods, you can start a selling mission and deliver the products to buyers. There are bonus payments if you collect and sell a lot of goods of the same type (for example, narcotics).

For selling 50 crates of narcotics, you can earn almost 2.55 million GTA dollars.

15. The nightclub steadily fills your account

Since the “After Hours” DLC, you can own a nightclub in GTA Online – and this is actually one of the best and most important sources of income. A nightclub costs you between 1,080,000 and 1,645,000 GTA dollars and allows you to earn money in two ways:

• You can hire technicians who produce goods for you. Here, you assign the technicians to a company you already own. For example, you produce hunting supplies if you assign a technician to your bunker. You can have up to 5 technicians. The revenue amount depends on how much goods are sold and the type of goods.
• You can generate passive income from your club’s daily earnings. The amount of revenue depends on your club’s popularity.

Additionally to the purchase price, you can spend money on optional improvements. These cost:

• Goods storage: up to $1,702,550
• Equipment for technicians: $1,450,000 – increases technicians’ productivity
• Employees: $475,000 – reduces daily loss of popularity
• Security: $695,000 – reduces the likelihood of the nightclub being attacked

How the nightclub’s passive income works

The most important source of income for the nightclub is the passive income. This is dependent on your establishment’s popularity. With 95-100 % popularity, you earn $50,000 per in-game day, which means every 48 minutes. This money accumulates in the nightclub’s vault, which can hold up to $250,000.

You can increase your club’s popularity through missions or short events within the nightclub (light blue dots on the minimap). These ask you to kick out a troublemaker or take a drunk VIP to the hospital. Alternatively, you can also change your DJ – this will give your popularity a big boost.

To get the most out of your nightclub, you should acquire the staff upgrade for $475,000. This will slow down your popularity loss significantly. Often, it is then enough to take a VIP to the hospital to restore your popularity to 100 %. This way, you can earn $50,000 every 48 minutes without much hassle.

16. Easy side income for solo players with the LSD lab

The LSD lab is exactly what the name suggests: a lab where LSD is produced. You can sell this after 3-4 hours in the open world while riding a motorcycle. If you deliver the full stock of the lab, you will earn about 350,000 GTA dollars (minus the purchased goods).

The lab is located in a truck, the Brickade 6×6, which can be equipped with a battering ram, among other things. To use this as an LSD lab, you should complete the “Los Santos Drug Wars” missions from Dax and purchase the lab for $750,000.

You do not need any other businesses or vehicles for the LSD lab and can play every selling mission alone – these are designed with a focus on solo players. However, it is advisable to pay $250,000 for the lab’s upgrade to increase the production speed and value of your goods.

The best way to make money in GTA Online? In the GTA Online community, it is considered the best method for solo players to resell upper-class cars in vehicle trading.

It is handy if you also have passive income through the nightclub and passive goods production from the LSD lab or bunker. You can occasionally restock these between your car transports and sell when you have enough in the warehouse.
