What is it about? The world of GTA Online is built on earning as much money as possible to buy expensive items like luxury sports cars or real estate. But what if you are short on cash yourself or want to help friends and other players?
GTA players repeatedly ask in public sessions how they can give money to other players. Here, we show you two methods in which you can do that indirectly.
How to give other players GTA dollars
Is there a function for that? More or less, yes. First, you need to complete jobs or heists. You cannot simply tap into your private funds that you have built up over the years.
Can you transfer money? Unfortunately, you cannot just go to the ATM in GTA Online and transfer your money to other players. There is no function for that in GTA Online in this form.
Method 1: Give players money after jobs
Here’s how it works: It is important that both players are playing in the same session together. You can invite friends to your GTA Online session via the Social Club or simply join them through the Social Club.
Now play jobs from GTA Online. These can be freeroam tasks, such as:
- Drive the longest distance without crashing,
- Drive the longest distance with a wheelie
- Hit the most checkpoints
- Business battles from nightclubs
- Cause the most damage
- etc.
But races, missions, and heists also count.
Once you have completed the job, open the interaction menu, select “Inventory” and then “Cash”. Now you have the option to share a portion of the money you earned in the last job with other players.
Method 2: Give players money through heists
Here’s how it works: You can give other players more money through heists than through jobs in freeroam. However, this is not money that previously belonged to you, but earnings.
- Choose a heist you want to play
- Invite the player who has money problems
- Set the money distribution on the planning board so that the friendly player receives as much percentage of the loot as possible
- Successfully complete the heist
After the heist, all players immediately receive the share they agreed upon at the planning board.
