How do you win the money? For participating in this week’s time trial, there are again over 101,000 GTA dollars for your account. You can find and complete the race in the open world. The catch of the race is that time is tight. An accident can cost you the victory, depending on the car used.
Which time trial is active? This week, the time trial Route 68 is active. You can find it near Trevor’s airstrip. You have 1 minute and 19 seconds to complete the course.
How to win the “Route 68” race in GTA Online
The course route: This time trial is one of the easier competitions in GTA Online. You basically just follow a road, easing off the gas slightly in the corners, and then cross the finish line.
On the following map, you can see the route that you will take with the car for the race. The two exclamation marks indicate tighter sections of the course. You won’t need to brake hard.
This is how the drive goes: At the start, you position yourself facing west. This is the direction indicated by the arrow in the race area on the screen.
During the drive, there are no special curves or shortcuts that you need to take. The whole time, you follow the main road with your car. Occasionally, there are corners where you ease off the gas or skillfully dodge onto the hard shoulder.
A special feature is the finish line. It is the property of a gas station, which is off the main path. You follow an exit, speed through the gas station’s middle lane, and you are already at the finish line.

Can the race be repeated? Yes, you can participate in the race as many times as you want. However, the 101,000 GTA dollars are only available once. After that, you will only receive 2,000 dollars for each successfully completed race.
Which vehicles should you take? Grab the fast cars from your garage that have good handling. One of the best vehicles for this was the Batmobile, but this vehicle is no longer qualified for participation in time trials.
We recommend cars with a high top speed like the Pariah. We used it in testing and arrived at the finish line well ahead of time.
In general, cars with a high top speed are recommended. Handling and braking performance are not as important in this race.
