A new update brings players in GTA Online futuristic weapons. Two new laser weapons are now available. Many players, however, would prefer new content for Red Dead Redemption 2 from Rockstar.
These two weapons are atypical for GTA Online: In the latest update, you have the opportunity to acquire the Hellbringer and the Widowmaker. The two firearms are laser weapons that have an infinite magazine.
In addition to the new weapons, you now also receive double money and RP for certain modes in GTA Online.

What kind of weapons are these? The Hellbringer and Widowmaker come from the Republican Space Ranger Edition and fire laser beams. You can obtain them exclusively at Ammu-Nation.
What do the weapons cost? To afford the laser rounds, you need to reach deep into your pockets. The Widowmaker alone costs 499,000 dollars. The advantage is that you don’t have to buy ammunition, as it includes an infinite magazine.
How do the players react: On the official Twitter account of Rockstar, many players prefer content for “Red Dead Online” right now. Although an update is announced, it is still pending.
The laser weapons are viewed rather critically; they apparently deal too little damage to players. Furthermore, they are now compared to the laser weapons in GTA 5 with Saints Row 4.
Some players feel that the sci-fi direction of GTA Online strays too far from the original game concept.
