Players in GTA Online are currently using a bug that transports them into the luxury house of one of the protagonists from the singleplayer. It is about Franklin’s house.
What’s happening? The online world of GTA 5 is actually strictly separated from the singleplayer. While you play on the same map, the playable characters from the story, Michael, Franklin, and Trevor, are not included.
However, their houses can be found on the map and visited. But they are locked.
With a bug, you can currently gain access to Franklin’s house.

How does it work? On reddit, player Preflipped presents his method for entering Franklin’s house.
In the video, the player first climbs onto a wall near the house, balances over it, and reaches the roof of the garage this way. From there, they proceed to the roof of the house.
Once on the roof, you will find several solar panels. Now draw your weapon Up-N-Atomizer from your weapon selection and aim at the ground between the panels while standing with your back towards the garage.
With the recoil of the weapon, Franklin is knocked back a few meters and, if you were positioned correctly, through the ceiling of the house.
What do you see there? At first glance, the house looks exactly as you know it from the singleplayer. However, you won’t find any special items or similar things there.
What do the players say? The clip is well received on reddit. The post has already gathered over 6,000 upvotes and 232 comments in two days.
Players are excited and want to try it out the next time they play in the online world.
Others state that there have been glitches before where you could drive cars like the T20 through the roof and thus enter Franklin’s place.
If you want to replicate the glitch, you can take a quicker route to the roof. “You can climb on the green and blue trash cans and from there get to the roof faster and easier,” explains XxnightnarexX10.
A completely different glitch is currently being heavily punished. Players used a casino glitch to scam millions of GTA Dollars. Rockstar Games is now taking strict action and even resets entire accounts in GTA Online. Some players have been hit really hard by it. For glitches that pose a significant advantage or disadvantage in the online world, the developers act quickly and harshly.
