The start of the beta for Ghost Recon Breakpoint is imminent. In a trailer, the team shows what content you can expect during the test phase. We will show you everything about the start, end, and content of the Breakpoint beta.
When does the beta start? If you want, you can participate in the open beta of Ghost Recon Breakpoint starting September 26 at 12:00 PM. You will have four days to try out the content and get an impression of the shooter that will be released soon.
The preload has already started. You can download it immediately and start at 12:00 PM.
Update 3 – 3:30 PM – The beta is now live!
Update 2: There are currently connection issues. The developers are working to fix them. Players are already requesting an extended beta period to make up for lost time.
Update: There are delays in the start. The Breakpoint team explains that they need a bit more time to prepare the game so that everything runs smoothly in the beta:
How long does the beta run? According to plan, the end of the test phase is September 29 at 4:00 PM. It may be that the end gets pushed back during the test phase depending on whether there are major technical difficulties or the developers decide on a spontaneous extension.
On October 4, the official launch will take place. How it continues after that is shown by Ubisoft in the roadmap of Ghost Recon Breakpoint.
What content is available? The content you can try out in the coming days is shown by Ubisoft in a trailer:

What changes after the closed beta? The developers used feedback from the last test phase to improve the open beta. The open beta brings three additional story missions, two new areas, and the daily missions.
What happens in the PvP of Breakpoint?
This is new: For the first time, you can participate in the PvP of Breakpoint in a beta. This takes place in the game mode Ghost War, which some of you may already know from the predecessor, Ghost Recon Wildlands.
The battles will take place on four different maps. You will compete against teams consisting of four people each – So 4v4.
With the feedback from players of Wildlands, they have learned how to improve the mode. This is the improved PvP mode Ghost War.
