Ghost Recon Breakpoint had a presentation at Ubisoft’s press conference at E3 2019. Even the Terminator was there.
What was shown? Ghost Recon Breakpoint used the appearance at E3 2019 for a few statements:
- Actor John Bernthal came on stage with a dog, talked about the story of GR Breakpoint
- A teaser for the Terminator appeared
- The content is planned for the coming years
- Collaboration with the community is important
There was also a trailer for the new Ghost Recon Breakpoint:
This caused excitement: Ubisoft also confirmed that AI companions would return. This point is very well received by the community, as Ubisoft listened to the feedback from fans.
They were initially not happy at all that the AI allies were supposed to be absent.
What was with the Terminator? At the end of the presentation, a teaser that strongly resembled the Terminator was briefly shown. However, it was not explained what it was about. There were no further details on why the Terminator had an appearance.
With this image in mind, the viewers were left behind. It was explained that Breakpoint would offer some surprises inspired by the community. The one shown above with the Terminator is part of that.
How was the presentation overall? Overall, the presentation of Breakpoint felt “okay”. However, the big highlight was missing.
After the strong opening of Watch Dogs Legion, Breakpoint stood in its shadow.
