The famous German Twitch streamer Simon “ungespielt” Wiefels, known as Unge, spoke in a past live stream about advertising for casino websites. He also mentioned a deal he received himself – it was said to be nearly 5 million euros.
What did Unge say about casino deals? The former YouTube streamer mentioned that casino websites send collaboration offers to “anyone who has even a slight reach and audience.”
It was the same for Unge, who claimed to have received an offer of nearly 5 million euros. However, he rejected it and wrote on Twitter that he would never do casino streams. He considers such things “absolute garbage”.
Unge compared gambling addiction to other addictions and does not think it is right to promote such things:
But if you promote such drugs and addictions for your viewers and fans, I just find it very dangerous. Because for me, it’s all on the same track: drug addiction or gambling addiction or whatever, it’s all absolute evil.

What did Unge say about the casino deals of other streamers? ungespielt went on to say that the prominent German Twitch streamer MontanaBlack, who gave valuable financial advice to Drachenlord, is said to have also received an offer of 12 million euros.

Where does Unge see the problem? The streamers reach young people who should not be reached. Especially children, teenagers, or young adults are more easily influenced and might want to follow their idols, Wiefels stated. Additionally, viewers see that the streamers win and then want to try it out themselves.
He urged again at the end to stay away from casinos and not to click on any influencer links. If you don’t support it, there will be no more casino deals.
Casino deals are not only critically viewed in Germany
How is it abroad? There too there are repeatedly conflicts, discussions, and criticisms between streamers and viewers. The biggest Twitch streamer, xQc, is known for his gambling addiction and regularly plays on slot machines or in-game.
He claims that he does not want to be a role model and just wants to stream what he enjoys. However, his viewers complained that he was squandering their money for no reason. Recently, xQc sparked a huge debate again with a sponsorship from a casino website.
Mizkif also rejected a casino deal like Unge. The deal was said to be around €9.3 million. His viewers absolutely could not understand that and would have accepted the deal.
Trainwreck is likely the best-known casino streamer on Twitch. To this day, he plays nearly every day, having lost over 7 million euros and yelled at his viewers. However, he also regularly warns against gambling and that they absolutely should not imitate him.
