The Crown of Wisdom in Genshin Impact raises questions. Why is it so expensive and what do players need it for? We clarify.
Currently, the “Distant Stars” event is taking place in Genshin Impact, which sends players out every day to retrieve and eliminate meteors. For this, there are new currencies and a temporary shop featuring the power of fading stars and the essence of fading stars, alongside the heroine Fischl. One item, however, is exorbitantly expensive – the Crown of Wisdom. But what is it actually?
Where can you find the Crown of Wisdom? In the event shop of the “Distant Stars” event. There are two tabs, and you can find the crown under “Exchange Essence.” While other rewards only cost between one and twelve essences, the Crown of Wisdom has a proud price of 110 essences. Accordingly, it might be quite difficult to farm enough essences. After all, the event only lasts for another week.
What does the Crown of Wisdom do?
What makes the crown so special? The Crown of Wisdom is needed to bring characters’ talents up to level 10 – that is the maximum. Talents have a strong influence on power, as they affect the damage or healing that a character deals. Talents, along with weapons and artifacts, are the best way to further enhance a character’s performance.
It seems that these crowns will only be available through special events, which is why you should get them at all costs before the opportunity passes.
Can you already get the essence of fading stars? No, not yet. For that, the “Distant Stars” event must first enter its third and final phase. This will happen on Monday, November 23 at 04:00 AM. After that, the last chapter “Star of Destiny” opens, and essences can be earned through new events. It is to be expected that this – as was the case with the power of fading stars – will cost original resin. You should manage the controversial resin among players well in the coming days.
So keep an eye out as soon as the event enters the next phase and save up for the Crown of Wisdom. Because it will pay off.
