Genshin Impact announces, alongside Gorou, the character named Arataki Itto surprisingly. MeinMMO reports on this.
Who is Arataki Itto? Itto has appeared several times in the latest leaks and had only been shown from behind until now. Now you get a face to the name:
Itto is said to be as quick as the wind and as strong as thunder. Furthermore, Oni blood flows through his veins. Arataki Itto is an eternal rival of Sara Kujou and constantly seeks battles with her. He apparently wields a great sword and is definitely of the Geo attribute.
Even though he gives a rather creepy and strong impression, he is said to be gentle and nice to children. He is the first character to possess such strong and masculine traits. This seems to be well received by the community, as Itto has already gathered almost 60,000 retweets in one hour. Together with Gorou, he catapulted himself into Twitter trends – as quick as the wind.
Who is Gorou? Unlike Itto, Gorou has already appeared in the story of Inazuma. He is a loyal follower of Kokomi Sangonomiya and a good buddy of Kazuha Kaedehara.
According to Genshin Impact, he is supposed to possess beast-like battle intuition and a stubborn will. Gorou finds a way to victory – even in the most critical moments. He is said to be a very loyal companion.
Gorou wields a bow and is of the Geo element.
No further information about the two characters has been released so far. If that changes, we will keep you updated.
