In Season X of Fortnite, the map is supposed to change continuously. YouTubers believe that Salty Springs could be next. Their theory is quite plausible.
What is this theory? It refers to the trailer for Season X, as you can already see the new Salty Springs there. It is not a leak, but a theory that could indeed make sense.
However, one must also be somewhat skeptical, as nothing has been found in the game yet, and the developers have not said anything about it either.
This theory has YouTubers at Salty Springs
This was discovered: The theory refers to a very short clip in the trailer for Season 10. A mech lands on the map, and you can see part of the map around it.
If you overlay this clip onto the map of Season 10, it fits perfectly between Tilted Town and Salty Springs. The only problem is that Salty Springs is no longer recognizable. You only see a body of water there:
What is suspected? The YouTubers now believe that this is a hidden hint at the change at Salty Springs. Epic is already showing the new Salty Springs.

Could the theory be true? There are definitely many indications suggesting that Salty Springs could be affected:
- Salty Springs can be translated as “Salty Spring.” It would thus fit a region with waters.
- Season X is currently all about time travel. The new Salty Springs could therefore be a place from the past where there actually was a salty spring.
- Epic promised in the trailer that the map could change regularly.
- Salty Springs has been there since the start of the game and could finally get a long-desired overhaul.
- In the trailer, Epic already showed clips from Tilted Town before it was in the game. The same could have happened here with Salty Springs.
Nevertheless, one must also temper the arguments a bit. Dataminers have not found anything on this yet. So, nothing may happen, or Salty Springs may not change for a few weeks.
In addition, there was a major map change with Tilted Town just recently. It remains to be seen if Epic will actually change the next location soon.
