Fortnite is getting generous and will be less stingy with loot in the future. With the update 5.1, many things in “Save the World” will be more generous. The Llamas will contain fewer duplicate items. For two weeks, you also have a good chance of grabbing missed items. Because Fortnite is celebrating its 1st birthday.
What’s in the next patch? The new patch should probably come on Tuesday. For “Fortnite: Battle Royale”, it will bring a new legendary submachine gun. However, we want to see what changes in Save the World, and here patch 5.1 is attractive:
- After a year, Epic is finally adding the campaign for the 3rd area “Bru-Tal”, at least the first third
- The rewards for the current Horde mode are being increased
- There will also be a special birthday Llama for two weeks
- and Llamas will be significantly more generous overall
New Biome, New Story
What’s happening in Bru-Tal? In Bru-Tal, as promised by Epic, the first of three chapters begins, in which the story of the zone in Fortnite will be told.
The campaign abruptly ends with the second zone, and only missions without a story are offered. Starting with 5.1, a part of the story will be added, and the zone will receive a new biome. A lot is likely to change.
How will the Horde mode become more attractive? The somewhat cumbersome and exhausting Horde mode should become more rewarding in the future. Epic is doubling the gold available there. And they are slashing 50% off the Flux. This is the fuel for the Advantage Winder in Fortnite “Save the World.”
In the Horde mode, the Event Quest for “Roadtrip” is currently taking place, as they likely want to attract more players. Normally, players complete their Event Quests in the “normal missions”, which also count towards the campaign’s progress.
For two weeks, there’s a Llama
What’s in the Birthday Llama? There will be items from the previous seasonal Llamas. So it will be a super chance to get items that you missed in the last year – like Halloween heroes. The celebrations for Fortnite’s 1st birthday will last for two weeks.
How will Llamas become more profitable overall? Epic wants to reduce the “duplicate items”. Everything that is epic (purple), legendary (orange), or mythical (gold) should no longer be obtained in duplicates. This includes everything that players own or have in their collection. From now on, all Llamas will work this way.
PVE founders receive these skins in Fortnite Battle Royale
Founders get two skins: For founders in Save the World, Epic is also adding these two outfits to Fortnite Battle Royale. It’s unusual for PvE players to receive something nice in PvP. Epic had promised these skins to the founders a long time ago.
When is the patch coming? It could come as early as tomorrow afternoon. At the latest, it should arrive by Thursday afternoon. At least that’s what experience suggests.
