In Week 9 of Season 5 in Fortnite: Battle Royale you need to visit seven stone heads on the map. You can find out where the stone skulls are here.
How many stone heads are there? The stone heads are one of the new features that appeared across the map at the beginning of Season 5. There are currently seven of them on the map. You need to visit exactly this many stone heads if you want to complete the related challenge in Week 9 of Season 5.
Wasn’t there something about a Dance Off?
Leak was wrong: At the beginning of the week, there was talk of a Dance Off at Loot Lake with friends in a data mining leak. However, that was probably misinformation. Instead, you now need to find seven stone heads. The dance feet must therefore remain still for now.
Where are the different stone heads on the map?
This is how you find the stone heads: The stone heads are mostly located along the latitude of the Fortnite map. There are none in the southeast, and at least one in the northwest, which is positioned where the old football stadium used to be. Each stone head may have a chest as a spawn point, so it’s worth landing there.
The embedded map here shows, among other things, the locations of the seven stone skulls. The detailed locations are:
- Grid C2: At the former football stadium site, there is now a stone head in the grass.
- Grid C6: Northeast of Greasy Grove is the stone head.
- Grid E7: North of the road between Shifty Shafts and Salty Springs is a hill. The stone head is on it.
- Grid F5: The stone head with the mustache is directly northwest of Dusty Divot.
- Grid G3: North of the Tomato Temple is a stone head with big ears.
- Grid I5: Head west from Lonely Lodge and climb the hill. There is another head.
- Grid E10: At the very bottom of the map, west of Lucky Landing, you will find this cheeky stone head.
This is how you get the heads in record time
How can I cover as many heads as possible at once? In the worst case, you may have to play seven matches, landing directly at the stone head each time to complete this task.
It’s easier if you plan a route in advance to grab multiple heads right away. The northern axis is suitable for this. Land at the head at C2 (Junk Junction) or at I5 (Lonely Lodge).
The top route: Then proceed depending on your starting point either southeast or west and pick up the heads along the way. The best time to do this is when you randomly have the northern half of the map as your area in the 50vs50 mode.
The southern route: You can also accomplish the three heads in the south in one run if you start at C6 or E10.
Watch out for “head hunters”: As always, there are annoying tryhards around the heads who love nothing more than to take out unarmed challenge completers. So be careful and use the 50vs50 mode for safety.
