In Fortnite, the suspected challenges for week 9 are now known. Dataminers have found hints that reveal all tasks, unless Epic intervenes again.
Datamining leak shows all challenges: The tasks for week 9 have been found by dataminers. Apparently, these should be rather simple jobs in the penultimate week of Season 5.
However, as always, these details are based on datamining and are therefore not necessarily accurate.
Update: The specific challenges for week 9 in Season 5 are now here. Among other things, you no longer have to dance, but find stone heads.
The free challenges without Battle Pass in Season 5, week 9
Deal damage to opponents with explosive weapons (500): If you haven’t completed the task from week 7 (Disturb opponent buildings with explosive charges), you can now complete these two challenges together and blow up buildings along with their inhabitants. 500 damage should not be a problem.
Use an ATV (1): If this task remains, it is a home game. There are plenty of golf carts, so check our guide to the spawn points and grab the task.
Follow the treasure map at Shifty Shafts (1): This task should not be a problem. We will provide a detailed guide on this as usual on Thursday.
For these 4 tasks in week 9, you need the Battle Pass
Search chests at Pleasant Park (7): There are plenty of chests here, especially in the large houses. Ideally, you farm the chests in the 50vs50 mode when they are a bit further from the front. This way you can quickly reach the 7 chests for the task.
Dance with another player at Loot Lake: This task could still change. Just dancing seems rather cheap. Who knows what the developers will come up with next.
Eliminate opponents with assault rifles (5): Assault rifles are still good weapons. Even the worst noobs should eventually manage 5 kills.
Eliminate opponents at Tomato Temple (3): Finally, you have a reason to take a closer look at the new Tomato Temple. Because you need to get 3 kills there. Praise the tomato!
More info will be available on Thursday
Warning, tasks may still change: Most tasks from the week 9 leak appear coherent and clear. Only the challenge with dancing at Loot Lake could be a fake. Or there may be further instructions on where exactly and how often you need to dance with whom.
We will provide you with a detailed guide to this task and the remaining challenges as soon as possible on Thursday.
